My daughter joined Ms Lokare in the ninth grade. She was pivotal in polishing her English skills. She was an excellent task master and knew exactly how to get the work done from the kids. She is a perfect amalgamation of firmness and soft heartedness at the same time.

Her jovial and approachable nature helps the students to interact with her easily. She would make the lessons interesting and would not only stick to textbooks but would also make them watch videos and movies for deeper understanding of the topic. Throughout the two years she gave the kids a lot of tests which exposed them to many questions which made them more familiar to the examination atmosphere. Going to her for English was the best decision we made.

Bhavana Miss was my teacher ever since I was in AVM and the moment I joined ISC and needed some help with English, I knew it only had to be her!

Her teaching style is not only very student friendly but also very comprehensive. 2 years of classes have been filled with not only theory but also tests that were very helpful to help me score a 95/100 in English in my 12th Boards!

Bhavana Miss is a highly organized teacher, and I always felt confident in the flow of her sessions. Her lectures are as concise as her notes, and the material she provided to study Merchant of Venice was invaluable in my revision for my ICSE exams.

Tuitions with Bhavana Miss for my 10th and 12th ICSE and ISC Board exams were definitely a huge help. Her detailed approach and frequent tests and revisions along with a detailed analysis of where I was going wrong were instrumental in developing my basics in English. I think it was only due her tests and homework that I opened by grammar textbooks. She is also very approachable and patient and is always ready to solve our doubts.

It is an absolute honour and privilege, to be able to write about one of the best teachers I have ever come across. Miss Lokare has the gift of the gab and managed to bring Shakespeare and even something as monotonous as tenses to life while teaching us. Her constant push and keen interest in our academics is the only reason I managed to score a perfect 100 on 100 in Literature in my board exam. Ma’am was like a mother to all of us and helped us overcome every obstacle we faced, regardless of whether it concerned her subject. Her rigorous practice and paper writing makes it impossible to falter in the paper. Joining Miss Lokare was the best decision I ever made, it was truly a blessing because English was the only subject where there was never any stress because we were prepared with the syllabus well in advance, giving us an edge over the other students.

I’m genuinely writing this, because I’m proud of how well I have performed under your guidance. Before I started tutoring from you, my English wasn’t at its best, but after that, it was like a 360 degree turnover.

You taught us all so well, with utmost calmness and care. You’ve always been so open to doubts and questions, even if they were not the most sensible ones. One of the best teachers I’ve ever come across. We always had so much fun in your class, other than the learning experience. Your regular tests definitely contributed to the final result. I’m glad to have joined your English tuitions in 2015.

I studied in Arya Vidya Mandir Juhu till 2012-13(seventh grade), so I knew you as a facilitator and had the privilege of being taught history, by you, in the sixth grade.

My twin sister, Prerna and I joined your tuitions in 2015, and managed to do really well in our board examinations because of your guidance.

I genuinely liked the way you taught us Merchant of Venice, mainly because we understood most of it, in the first learning itself. The way you made us understand the important Acts and scenes especially Act 4 scene 1 and Act 5, with great detail was amazing.

Some of the poems that were slightly difficult, like Psalm of life and I believe were simplified and explained by making us write everything down.
The dedication you showed to get us to finish the portion as early as possible was laudable because I remember having extra classes and learning each story at length.

Most importantly, the constant tests that you conducted were highly beneficial. The fact that you started the full portion tests for both English Language and Literature, reasonably early, also helped us. I also appreciate how you’d correct every paper and give us some valuable inputs to improve our answers in order to ace the board examinations.

At the end of the day, I’d just like to express my gratitude to you, for training us so well.

Hi ! My name is Suhani Barar and I studied with Bhavana Miss for the entirety of my ninth and tenth grade in ISC.

Miss instilled in us a love for learning Shakespeare and made it easy for us to understand the text by giving an explanation for each and every line. Her classes were something we always looked forward to as they were never boring and very lively. There were a series of tests throughout the year to ensure that we were done with our portion well and was always followed by a thorough recap.

On a more personal note, miss always encouraged me to continue writing and made me write multiple essays to help better my skills. She will always be one my favourite teachers !

Mrs Bhavana Lokare is a very skilful person. Both my kids are fond of her. She is very knowledgeable about her subject matter, very accessible, fair, respectful and passionate.

In school, English was the subject I liked but also found hard to understand the finer nuances of the language. On attending Ms. Lokare’s classes she used to make us focus on improving our basics, having strong fundamental concepts which would then lead to an advanced knowledge and appreciation of English.

Ms. Lokare encouraged us to never hold back on creativity while making sure we adhered to certain rules where necessary. She was kind, humorous yet strict, She knew each one of us personally, our strengths and our weakness – and helped us build on our assets and overcome our negatives.
